On 22/05/2026, the União das Freguesias de Gondomar (S. Cosme), Valbom e Jovim returned to the Senior University to carry out another workshop within the framework of the European project “Don’t Age, Engage!”.
This fourth session continued to encourage seniors to remain mentally active and socially engaged through a variety of practical and interactive activities. The participants showed great enthusiasm and involvement throughout the workshop, contributing to a warm and collaborative atmosphere.
The initiative focused on promoting healthy aging habits, stimulating cognitive abilities and reinforcing the value of social participation in later life. Moments of conversation, teamwork and reflection also played an important role in strengthening relationships among participants and encouraging emotional well-being.
By continuing to develop these local workshops, the project seeks to create meaningful opportunities for seniors to stay active, connected and involved in community life.
