As part of the European project “Don’t Age, Engage!”, the União das Freguesias de Gondomar (S. Cosme), Valbom e Jovim organized a third workshop on 15/05/2026 at the local Senior University.
The initiative aimed to encourage active and healthy aging by creating a space where older adults could participate in cognitive stimulation activities and moments of social interaction. Throughout the session, participants took part in practical exercises focused on memory, concentration and logical thinking, while also engaging in group dynamics that promoted communication and participation.
The workshop took place in a positive and inclusive environment, highlighting the importance of emotional well-being, autonomy and lifelong learning among the senior population.
Through actions like this, we continue to support the quality of life of older adults and strengthen their connection with the community.
