International Online Training on Active Ageing Delivered within the “Don’t Age, Engage!” Project

On 22 April 2026, partners of the Erasmus+ project “Don’t Age, Engage!” successfully held an online international training session for staff, bringing together professionals from Italy, Portugal and Türkiye.

The session was part of the “SenYOURart” course and included the participation of four staff members from each partner organisation, promoting exchange of knowledge and collaborative learning.

The training aimed to enhance professionals’ skills in working with older adults, focusing on active ageing through a combination of physical, mental and creative approaches. Key topics addressed included:

  • Non-formal education and activity adaptation
  • Mental well-being and cognitive stimulation
  • Physical activity and movement
  • Art as a tool for inclusion and expression

This initiative reflects the project’s goal of improving the quality of life of older adults by equipping professionals with innovative and practical methodologies .

The “Don’t Age, Engage!” project, funded by Erasmus+, promotes active ageing and supports professionals across Europe in delivering more inclusive and effective interventions for seniors .
